Chronos BTH has recently introduced the new BlockTop bag closing system being used in packing rooms around the world where it is helping to produce uniform square shaped bags; that are hygienically closed; yet easy to open. BlockTop also helps to optimise bag sizes and provide bag cost purchasing saving opportunities.
Used in conjunction with Chronos BTH Bottom-up filling systems, BlockTop provides total bag control throughout the closing process. Once filled the bag top is pre-cut, creased, double folded and hot melt glue is applied between the folds. The bag top is then pressed to spread the glue. Each closed bag top is folded over and further glue applied. The folded bag top is pressed onto the filled bag to form a square shaped bag. Sealed bags are easy to open, by pulling across the top of the bag, which unrolled and can be re-folded to close it again.
