Rotronic in the UK has UKAS 0766/ISO 17025 accreditation for Temperature, Humidity and Dew Point laboratory calibration. We have low measurement uncertainties, in fact the lowest of any commercial laboratory in northern Europe. Our well-equipped, purpose-built UKAS laboratory and main office are located close to Gatwick in West Sussex.

Calibration technicians perform multipoint sensor calibrations every day for our customers working in the pharmaceutical, food, HVAC, automotive, meteorology, brick & tile and many other industries. We also calibrate sensors for system integrators, facility management companies, research organisations, universities and test houses.  Naturally, we calibrate all Rotronic devices however old (10 years is common), but also all manufacturers’ sensors and device types.  You are welcome to contact us at any time to request a quotation for the calibration of your device at the points you need to cover its working range.

The UKAS accredited 0766/ISO 17025 calibration laboratory at Rotronic UK has long made a name for itself in high quality temperature, humidity and dew point calibrations. A copy of the latest Rotronic UK UKAS scope can be downloaded here.

Our UKAS accreditation fully supports the precision temperature, humidity and low dew point instruments manufactured by Rotronic AG in Switzerland. With the combination of low measurement uncertainty and the range of UKAS calibration services available the Rotronic laboratory is one of the most advanced commercial facilities in Europe.

The ISO 17025 accredited multipoint calibration of any manufacturers’ temperature, humidity and dew point sensors confirms performance across the working range. It is a requirement of many industry regulations and company quality management systems.  Our UKAS laboratory manager Chris Aicken spent two years increasing the confidence in the calibrations performed and this resulted in the lowering of the Calibration and Measurement Capability (CMC) of the laboratory.

Significant improvements were made in measurement procedures for dew point and temperature in air. In the laboratory, relative humidity is derived from complex vapour pressure calculations.

UKAS calibration work is typically completed quickly within 4 – 5 days, more complex calibrations take a little longer. Pricing is very competitive; we can set up a calibration service contract to suit your needs. We would be pleased to discuss your UKAS calibration requirements in detail, please contact us at any time.
