Rockwell Automation has announced the appointment of Dave Nicholl as its new UK and Ireland country sales director. Nicholl currently serves as sales director in Ireland and will extend his remit to include the UK. Nicholl will continue to grow the company’s products, services, partnerships and Connected Enterprise principles.
Prior to joining Rockwell Automation in the spring of 2015, Nicholl gained valuable experience during a distinguished career with Schneider Electric where he held senior managerial positions in the UK, Romania and Sweden. He brings an array of technical and managerial skills to the job and has a proven track record for achieving sales growth. Speaking of Nicholl’s appointment, Marcel Woiton, Northern regional sales director said, “I’m delighted Dave has agreed to add the UK to his remit. His extensive experience and proven ability to drive sales will be an excellent addition to our highly valued UK team. He is ideally placed to help Rockwell Automation continue to grow our business and maximise the opportunities for customers at the forefront of modern industrial solutions.”
