Supplier of continuous ink jet printers and sophisticated barcode systems, Euromark, is enjoying success in Ireland particularly within the beverage sector.

Orders have been received from drinks producers such as Diageo, Antrim Hills and Cooley Distilleries.

Euromark includes a range of Hitachi continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers, high-tech barcode systems and portable print solutions. One of Euromark’s earliest Irish customers, is Dublin-based premium drinks business Diageo, which purchased three Hitachi coders.

Chris Grehan of Diageo comments: “The three Hitachi printers are used to track and trace information on beer kegs and achieved over 1,000 impressions per hour. The Hitachis are extremely reliable and economical.”

Euromark supplied two Hitachi printers to Cooley Distillery, used to batch code up to 10,000 various sized and shaped whisky bottles a day.

Plant manager, Gabriel O’Loughlin, said: “We have been delighted with the Hitachi coders’’ easy to use features and have found the equipment to be low maintenance and highly reliable.”
