Mettler Toledo has launched the new WMS high precision weigh module. It is made for fast and precise filling of pharmaceuticals and check weighing of parts or quantities. The WMS is said to be easy to integrate in automated processes in laboratories and production. It is available in capacities up to 400g and a readability of 0.0001g. A robust stainless steel design plus built in overload protection together with the internal calibration device ensure the high precision weighing of the WMS in an industrial environment.
An IP54 rated labyrinth protects the weigh module against dust and spilled liquids during normal operation. The IP66 rated wash down option seals the weigh module during cleaning. The weighing platform can be easily removed for cleaning thanks to a simple locking device. It has options to communicate with control systems via Profibus DP, Profinet IO, Ethernet IP and DeviceNet. It offers digital inputs and outputs for connection to sensors and actuators.
