Kite Packaging will be exhibiting at this year’s Empack Exhibition 2016 launching a range of new products with some that have never before been seen in the UK
Kite has also announced that for a third year running they will be partnering up with Audion Swissvac. Positioned on Stand H12, the two companies will occupy a huge 104 Sq. metre space showcasing an impressive range of new and existing machinery. The Kite / Audion stand is the largest that Empack has seen.
Headline products include Kite Packaging’s new PaperJet System, a rapid automated paper cushion delivery system which is comfortably the fastest paper cushion system on the market. On a continuous run, the system produces a market leading number of metres, when using Kites FanFold paper material on a pallet thus simplifying and reducing loading intervals.
Incorporating the PaperJet with Kites hopper basket system, there is the ability to feed numerous packers with environmentally friendly paper cushion void fill material. The system comprises a single PaperJet machine, a conveyor and two overhead hopper baskets. Used in conjunction with packing stations it will increase efficiency and save space, time and cost.
The SpeedMan Pro, Kites new automated paper filling system is designed with efficiency and speed in mind enabling users to considerably accelerate their packaging process. Operated with a foot pedal, a continuous speed adjustment is possible and for even greater flexibility, a mobile battery version of the SpeedMan Pro can be used.
SpeedMan Classic, Kites new maintenance free, void filling paper dispenser, can easily be transported as it requires no electricity. Once integrated into a packing station it is a great space saving machine and is particularly suitable for companies that package at several different locations.
Kites new incredibly fast Auto Airshock machine runs up to 480 cushions an hour and is unique to Kite Packaging. Never before seen in the UK, this innovative machine significantly reduces labour and increases the amount of Airshock inflated. It’s designed to run a range of different sized airshock, bags and flat sheets which all come pre-configured and perforated on a roll making it simple and easy to use.
Finally Kites 5×5 system, a new product from the engineering division – will be showcased at the exhibition. The hand dispenser system offers consistent and optimised pallet wrapping giving improved puncture resistance. The unique design of the pre-stretch roller provides maximum efficiency for hand wrapping meaning less stock needs to be carried, storage is reduced by up to 60% and waste reduced by up to 70%.
The show kicks off on Wednesday 24th February. On the stand will be Kites expert team who will be demonstrating the range of newly launched products and answering visitor’s questions about their specific packaging requirements, and recommending the best products for their operation.
Empack, which takes place on 24th and 25th February 2016 at Birmingham’s NEC, is also co-located with Label&Print and Packaging Innovations, meaning that the whole packaging spectrum is covered under one roof.
