Based in Northern Ireland, Ballyvesey Holdings has purchased Plantlink, the Merseyside-based dealer for the Doosan heavy range of construction plant and equipment.

Plantlink holds the regional distributorship for the Doosan heavy range including crawler and wheeled excavators, wheeled loaders, articulated dump trucks, heavy duty telehandlers and attachments to customers across North West England, North Wales, Lancashire, Cheshire and Merseyside.

Dermot Cunnie, general manager of Ballyvesey’s Construction Equipment Division, said: “With this acquisition we have added the Doosan Heavy line of equipment to the Bobcat range sold by our trading subsidiary, Norwest Plant, which was appointed as the authorised Bobcat dealer for the region earlier this year.  The acquisition of Plantlink also adds to our existing Doosan and Bobcat dealerships at Montana Plant in Ireland and Scotia Plant in Scotland.”

Ballyvesey Holdings main activities are concentrated in transport and logistics, truck sales and aftermarket support, trailer manufacturing, transport industry services, and more recently property development, management and investment.
