Vacuum pump and compressor manufacturer, Gardner Denver, is offering food and beverage producers and packers the chance to win exclusive Rugby World Cup tickets when they take out a free site survey in June or July to assess their current vacuum and pressure requirements.

The company has two hospitality packages up for grabs for both of the World Cup semi finals held on the 24th and 25th October 2015, with the winners being drawn on the 9th October 2015. Any company representative that applies for a site survey will also receive a free rugby ball.

Colin Mander, regional director for Gardner Denver explains the reason behind the competition:

“Sourcing decisions can be some of the most strategic in an organisation. Food and beverage manufacturers in particular are under increasing pressure to reduce supply chain costs and will spend considerable time weighing up the benefits of single-source supply versus the potential risks.

“When it comes to investment in capital plant and equipment for a site’s air demands, customers can realise significant savings by choosing a single source supplier that can provide comprehensive sales and service support.  These savings can include lower production costs, improved energy efficiency, reduced downtime through streamlined routine maintenance – all of which helps to deliver better value for shareholders and customers alike.

“As the only company in the UK to offer both vacuum and pressure solutions for the food industry, we believe we are well-placed to advise on where savings can be realised in the use of air across a production site. With a full range of compressors, pumps, blowers and downstream air treatment equipment available we can provide one point of contact for equipment sales and maintenance to help reduce overall cost of ownership.

“Any new or existing Gardner Denver customers in the food and beverage sector can take advantage of our free, no obligation site survey, available in June or July.  This will enable us to identify current compressed air and vacuum requirements and make recommendations for where savings can be delivered.

“As a thank you, we will enter the relevant company representative in to our free prize draw for one of two exclusive, all-expenses paid Rugby World Cup hospitality packages, and they will also receive a free rugby ball.”

Gardner Denver products are built to save energy, reduce costs and minimise downtime. Proven brands such as Elmo Rietschle, Bellis & Morcom, CompAir, Hydrovane, Robuschi and Reavell are already used in a wide variety of applications in the food and beverage sector, providing factory and general instrument air, delivering air to the packaging process and supporting process lines.
