Alan Ransom, purchasing manager of Net-Tex Industries was the lucky winner in the 2011 annual Connecting Industry circulation prize draw. Ransom’s prize of the latest Apple iPod Touch was presented by Datateam’s managing editor, Neil Mead at Net-Tex Industries’ in Hoo Marina, Kent. Ransom is a Factory Equipment reader and finds the content “an interesting and useful read” that helps in his role.

Formed in 1983, Net-Tex was originally geared to service the veterinary and agricultural industry with innovative high technology solutions, nutrition and animal husbandry products. The company’s aerosol range for niche markets has expanded to include general automotive, fire and stove, equestrian products and an insecticide range.

Net-Tex has invested in full laboratory facilities and expanded its chemical and aerosol division. This enables its technical chemists to carry out extensive research and development for introducing new and innovative products.
